Delivery Information
Our primary concern is to make sure that all goods dispatched from our warehouse are transported and delivered in a timely fashion and arrive in the same condition that they left our warehouse.
Oz 3D Optics use a wide selection of delivery methods including Australia Post Express Post, TOLL Priority overnight and off-peak courier service. For international freight services use TOLL Global and Australia Post International Registered Post.
Because every shipping service is not always suitable for every application, please read the information below to allow you to make an educated decision in choosing the correct shipping method for your unique situation.
All automatic freight quotes provided by this website are classed as invalid until they are checked and confirmed by a sales representative. If there is any difference between the rate quoted by our website and the actual shipping rate you will be notified by one our sales team. At this time you will have to option to either accept the new charges, alter your shipping method or cancel your order.
Standard Delivery Service
Our aim is to keep your shipping charges as low as possible. So if money is a concern, then choosing our standard delivery service will offer you a fast and reliable delivery service at minimal cost. Below is a list of shipping methods that we regularly use for our standard delivery service.
Australia Post
When choosing to send most of our smaller orders with a value of up to $50.00 (excluding shipping) via Australia Post (Express). For orders above this amount Express Post or a courier service will be used. Generally the freight is delivered within 2 to 5 business days from dispatch, However with COVID-19 disruptions freight delays out of our control can and do occur. If you required goods to be sent to a PO Box then Express post will be used. If it is to a business or home address then either courier or Express post will be used at our discretion. If you are in a rush feel free to call us to discuss shipping options before placing your order.
Courier Service (Off-peak)
An off-peak courier service is generally used for larger bulky or heavy orders. Most of the courier services we use are not as fast as Express Post but do provide a reliable cheaper option when it comes to transporting bulk freight. If a bulk delivery service is required this is a good method for shipping within Australia.
Courier service (Overnight)
Occasionally when a customer chooses our standard delivery service we find it more economical to send via a overnight courier service than via Australia Post or an off-peak courier service. In this case we will use this service at no additional cost to the customer.
Standard Delivery Service (RESTRICTIONS)
If you do choose our standard delivery service the following restrictions apply!
1. You cannot request to have your goods delivered between certain times of the day
2. No weekend deliveries.
3. No guaranteed delivery times (approximates only).
4. We cannot guarantee the tracking accuracy of shipping companies.
5. If the tracking states that your package has been delivered and you state that you have not received it then we cannot help you regarding this other than offering you the tracking number and the service used so that you can make your own enquiries as to what may have happened to the goods.
6. Insurance not always available.
Overnight Courier Service
This is the best service to use if you would like a speedy delivery service. Unfortunately due to current system backlog this service is no longer guaranteed to be overnight.
Overnight Courier Service (RESTRICTIONS)
If you do choose our standard delivery service the following restrictions apply!
1. You can request to have your goods delivered between certain times of the day, or request special delivery instructions like asking to have the package left at your front door.
2. Saturday deliveries available , (additional surcharge applies, call for price).
3. Guaranteed delivery times (additional surcharge applies, call for price).
4. High level of tracking.
5. Proof of delivery
6. If the tracking states that your package has been delivered and you state that you have not received it then we cannot help you regarding this and assist in enquiring as to what may have happened to the goods.
7. Insurance available on certain services
SAME DAY Delivery Service
This is a special service for time critical freight when delivery just cannot wait. This is an extremely expensive service so please call us if your require this special service.
With SAME DAY service your goods will be collected by a dedicated courier and flown to its final destination when another dedicated courier will collect the goods and deliver them to your door ASAP. Same day is not always available if this service is ordered very late in the day.
Airport to Airport service
Airport to Airport is where the goods are transported from our nearest airport to your nearest airport. From here you will need to go to the airport to collect your goods. this is a slightly cheaper option than SAME DAY delivery. Airport to Airport is not always available if this service is ordered late in the day.
Overseas Delivery Services
These are the different services that we use so sent goods overseas.
Australia Post International Airmail
This is the most economical service for sending goods overseas. Generally shipping times for this service are 5 - 20 business days, but can take longer to certain countries. Insurance is also available for this service. This service only offers basic tracking. Use this service if you are not in a hurry and are concerned about freight costs.
Global Courier service
This is a more expensive service for sending goods overseas. Generally shipping times for this service are 3 - 15 days. Insurance is also available for this service. This service offers full tracking, priority clearance and delivery and must be signed for on delivery. This is a speedy, secure service for clients who need their goods delivered in a timely fashion.
